Frequently asked questions

How do I decide which program to start with?

It is always good to do a general treatment with a symptom specific treatment. For example, if you have sinusitis you can do a Sinusitis program with an Infection general program. Do this daily for at least 5-7 days before changing the program.

Is a treatment with handheld electrodes better than with a treatment mat?

It is a general misconception that the treatment mat is not as effective as the electrodes.

This is not true. They work in different ways. Remember that with PEMF therapy, stronger is NOT better. It is the gentle treatments that yield the best results.

With handheld and self-adhesive electrodes you get a direct electrical current. The treatment mat applies very soft pulsed magnetic fields and changing electro-static loads to large body areas and therefore gives a gentler treatment.
We find the treatment mat very effective as you can group treatments for up to two hours and repeat it throughout the night. This means that you can do the treatment group at least three times during the night. This is by far the best way to treat chronic conditions.
A combination of electrodes and mat treatments are very effective.

Literature shows that you should not “over” treat as that has a negative effect, and you should therefore not treat more than 2.5-3 hours at a time with electrodes.

The treatment makes me feel worse

It is normal to feel worse before you start to feel better. The Herxheimer Reaction is a short-term (from days to a few weeks) detoxification reaction in the body. As the body detoxifies, it is not uncommon to experience flu-like symptoms including headache, joint and muscle pain, body aches, sore throat, general malaise, sweating, chills, nausea, or other symptoms.

This is a normal — and even healthy — reaction that indicates that parasites, fungi, viruses, bacteria or other pathogens are being effectively destroyed by your body. The biggest problem with the Herxheimer reaction is that people stop the treatment that is causing the reaction, and thus discontinue the very treatment that is helping to make them better. Although the experience may not make you feel particularly good, the Herxheimer Reaction is actually a sign that healing is taking place.

Should I feel the treatment?

Often we hear the complaint: “I do not feel the treatment”. The answer is that “feeling” the treatment has nothing to do with the effectiveness of the treatment.
What you feel is the intensity of the current emitted by the unit, and that is in your power to adjust. When you “feel” it, it is just an indication that the machine is in working order.

Frequencies above 300Hz will not be noticeable. For example, with Adenovirus 333, 523, 666… where all the frequencies are above 300 you are not likely to “feel” anything during the treatment even if the intensity setting is at a high level. But with Addiction 3, 3.5, 3.6, 5.5….10000 only the one frequency is above 300Hz so you might be able to “feel” the whole treatment sequence.
People differ and some of you may be very sensitive to any current change while others have to adjust the intensity to the highest level before they even feel the 100Hz which is the test frequency.

Research indicates that low currents (below sensory threshold, which means it can’t be felt) stimulate tissue and bone growth by increasing the ATP and protein activity in body cells. Therefore, it is normal not to feel the treatment and it is actually a more effective treatment if the intensity is set lower rather than higher.

Can PEMF therapy really address so many ailments and health concerns?
It is important to remember that PEMF therapy uses many frequencies (0-10000Hz). Yes, some of these frequencies are universal and used for many ailments, but most programmes have their own unique set of frequencies. Each frequency has a specific function (like pain relief, improve circulation, cell growth, etc.) and therefore addresses different health concerns.

PEMF therapy is truly one therapy for all your health needs.

What is the Zapper?

The zapper is a device invented by Dr. Clark. It kills parasites, bacteria, viruses, molds and fungi electrically. Viruses and bacteria disappear in three minutes; tapeworm stages, flukes, roundworms in five; and mites in seven.

A battery-operated, positive offset with a very low voltage from 5 to 10 volts is sufficient. It kills parasites and bacteria wherever the current reaches them.
But it does not reach the eyes, the appendix, the testes, or the inner ear bones. The current travels along the stomach or intestinal wall, not through its content. It does not reach into the gallstones or into the living cells. The current does not pass uniformly through the body. With regular zapping, the current passes mainly through our liquids, i.e our lymphatic and vascular system, a small fraction reaches every organ and tissue of our body. Blood and lymph are the most important locations to zap.

To use the “Zapper” effectively, zap three times a week for three weeks.

Are there any risks associated with frequency generator devices?

Frequency devices and similar devices likely don’t pose any major health risks. This is because the energy waves they use have a very low frequency. The frequency is lower than that of waves emitted by cell phone.
